Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 4, 2026

By accessing or using the DuckDuckLink VPN service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

DuckDuckLink provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes your traffic through our servers. The Service is provided for lawful personal use only.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent the one-trial-per-person limit.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

a) Plans

We offer monthly (1-month), semi-annual (6-month), and annual (12-month) subscription plans. Current pricing is listed at duckducklink.com/pricing.

b) Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period and auto-renew until cancelled.

c) Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access to the Service until then.

4. Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 1-day free trial. The trial is available once per person. Upon trial expiration, your subscription will begin and you will be charged for the selected plan.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds after the free trial period has ended, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity under applicable law
• Send unsolicited commercial email (spam)
• Conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other malicious software
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service
• Attempt to circumvent the Service's technical limitations

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of this section in our sole discretion.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination for cause, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no guarantee of specific connection speeds or uptime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DuckDuckLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with the new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
