DuckDuckLink (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the DuckDuckLink VPN service (“Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. No-Logs Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or process:

• Your browsing history or visited URLs
• DNS queries made through our VPN
• Your original IP address or assigned VPN IP address
• VPN traffic content or data
• Connection duration

2. Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is required to provide the Service and send you transactional communications (account confirmation, subscription updates, password resets).

b) Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive, store, or process your full credit card number, CVV, or billing address. We receive only payment confirmation metadata from Stripe (transaction ID, last four digits of card, payment status). Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

c) Connection Timestamps

We temporarily store the time of your most recent connection for abuse prevention purposes. This data is automatically purged after 30 days and is never associated with your browsing activity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process subscription payments
• Send transactional emails (account creation, subscription confirmation, password resets)
• Detect and prevent abuse of the Service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. No other third-party services receive your personal data.

5. Data Retention

• Account information (email address) is retained for as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.
• Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations.
• Connection timestamps are purged after 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Correct inaccurate information

7. Security

VPN traffic is encrypted using AES-256. Our servers are secured against unauthorized access using industry-standard measures. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with the new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
